Recently, Shanghai Government issued the “Decision of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government on Commending the Fifth Shanghai Intellectual Property Innovation Award”. A total of 45 intellectual property innovation awards were presented this time. Among them, “A Vehicle Transmission System and Vehicle (ZL202311648570.7)” submitted by Top Gear won the Shanghai Intellectual Property Innovation Award (Third Prize for Patents) among 45 awards presented this time. The acquisition of this honor not only highlights TPG’s innovative strength and technical level in the field of vehicle transmission systems, but also demonstrates our outstanding performance in the protection and application of intellectual property rights.

(The Shanghai Intellectual Property Innovation Award is a municipal-level recognition project established through cooperation between the Shanghai and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to recognize outstanding entities and achievements in the field of intellectual property within the Shanghai area.)
“A Vehicle Transmission System and Vehicle (ZL202311648570.7)” is applied to a new configuration of high-performance multi-motor central drive assembly product. The new configuration of high-speed multi-motor parallel drive invented in this patent integrates a small-sized high-speed motor with a large-speed-ratio multi-mode automatic transmission, achieving the miniaturization, weight reduction and modularization of the powertrain. It effectively solves the pain spots of traditional single-motor systems, such as heavy weight, high cost and poor smoothness, meanwhile can continuously output power during gear shifting. It addresses the potential safety hazards of heavy-duty vehicles that may cause rolling down the slope or inability to shift gears due to power interruption during uphill gear shifting, effectively ensuring the smoothness, comfort and safety of driving. This patent technology is of great significance for the renewal and iteration of the transmission technology of new energy heavy-duty trucks.
